Somebody said  it’s enough to draw just one historic character when you’re looking for a media coverage (and death’s sentence). That character is Mohammed. Luckily most of the arab comics creators aren’t so much scandal-dependent and turn more into depicting contemporary stories with sarcasm and an intense comedy touch.  Things like european leaders as seen from the other side, the female question, arab Printemps and bloody sketches. Here you have my selection of drawings, starting from my favourite one, the algerian Dilem, then Mykaia, Chapatte and the tunisian idol Z.
